Hi

Just been looking on the ryanair website and some of there summer 2006 programme has been released. And its looking like its bad news for LBA.

By the looks of things the 3 times daily LBA - Dublin flights will be dropped to just 6 times weekly. Once daily weekdays and Sundays. There is no sign of any Saturday flights as yet.

Here is the provisional timetable so far.

DUBLIN-LBA
FR 156 21:20 - 22:15 12345--
FR 156 18:50 - 19:45 ------7

LBA-DUBLIN
FR 157 22:40 - 23:30 12345--
FR 157 20:10 - 21:00 ------7

Interesting it would be awesome to have Jet2 in DUB.

I *think* this could have something to do with the demise of the 732 and the introduction of the 738. Though of course, 3 x 732 is much bigger than 1 x 738, but I think this could be a partial explanation.

On the MME front, I'm very interested to see what FR do with our daily Dublin now that we will be a 738.

Well...I'm not impressed! FR's LBA-DUB route has been a favourite of mine lately when I've felt like jumping on a plane for no real good reason, due to the simple fact that I can usually get a return for less than 28 quid!

It would, however, be good to see LS make their presence known at DUB. It will just be slightly more expensive!

Until then I'd better make the most of the cheap fares to DUB, even if the ood old '200's are no more!

Looks like they just haven't finished loading the schedules, as half the UK airports are down to a single daily rotation.

Hope your right Mark, really couldnt see them going from 3x daily to 6x weekly.

If so, im sure Jet2 will move in.

You do appear to be right, ive just searched for flights in July, and the flight times appear to be identical to this past summer. Good news!
