Dutch low-fares airline, transavia.com, launches first new route from Glasgow Prestwick

Dutch low-fares airline transavia.com has announced today (Monday December 19) the launch of its first-ever route out of Scotland with a daily flight (except Saturday) from Glasgow Prestwick to Amsterdam.

Bookable online at www.transavia.com from Tuesday December 20, flights commence on March 26 and cost from just £33.75 one-way, including taxes.

Part of the KLM/AF group, transavia.com is the only airline to offer flights to Holland from Glasgow Prestwick, Scotland's fastest growing airport.

Flights will depart Glasgow Prestwick daily at approximately 1600 hrs, depending on the date of travel, with the return flights departing Amsterdam at approximately 1500 hrs.

In addition to low-cost fares, all passengers flying to and from Glasgow Prestwick will benefit from a free return rail journey within Scotland upon production of their transavia.com booking confirmation.
