That is quite true the fare prices are quite high for an airport not close to the city!!

-Despite announcing CWL - BHD a few weeks ago, still not bookable and no schedules published - then, of course, Aer Arann announced they would be operating the same route from March 06 and that fares/schedules would be available mid December and still nothing!

I sent an e-mail to air wales about this they said:
Thank you for your recent email.
The schedules are currently being entered into the system, and will be
available to book from tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience.
Kind regards
Customer Relations
So they will be bookable Tomorrow!!!!

-Well this morning has come and gone and, not surprisingly, CWL - BHD still not bookable! Mind you, Aer Arann said their fares on the same route would be bookable mid December and we're still waiting!

-Well, i'm part of Air Wales Virtual and I reckon with Air Wales Virtual the short lived venture (is it me or is there a general feeling this will be their last christmas) will have difficulty keeping up with the routes that they do and don't serve

I was looking at prices on EXT-ORK and it says via Newuay:

-Air Wales, Aer Arann and Air Southwest are all in the same cut-throught market of regional air services to and from the south Wales and the southwest of England. Naturally things are going to get bloody, but there seems to be more to this than meets the eye. When Aer Arann announced CWL-DUB & BHD, and Air Wales announced EXT & NQY-ORK, someone here suggested a possible takeover by Aer Arann of Air Wales. I poo pooed the idea, I thought it was too hasty and it was just a bit competition between the two airlines. Now however, things have changed. Air Wales has severed ties with bmibaby on all but one route. In recent weeks they have slashed fares on a number of routes, coincidently to fit better into Aer Aranns sort of price bracket. They and RR have announced the Irish routes mentioned, and now a number of routes show up on their website that look very much like Aer Arann destinations. Whats more, they have not denied the existence of these upcoming services or blamed it on system errors. Instead they have left the door wide open, and not promised anything. Now, it all fits and Aer Arann taking over Air Wales seems highly likely to me. There would be minimal changes needed; both airlines operate the same aircraft, similar routes. The fact that Air Wales is supposedly Wales' "national airline" doesn't really matter. Ireland and Wales are both Celtic nations and have always held very close ties. Celtic Air or Celtline, something like that, would suit both airlines perfectly. What do we all think?

-This is really weird. All the routes are there on the booking facility and you can actually book & theres flight numbers and everything so I think these routes must be going ahead. However, when you go onto destinations & timetables loads of routes have gone! Also MAN- Rennes is apparently full right thru April?! They really need to get a new website designer/management company. This ones useless.

-Has Air Wales made an official annoncement about these new routes?
I really hope that Aer arann does NOT take over Air Wales!

Air Wales have the following listed on their booking system:
MANCHESTER
WATERFORD
RENNES BRITTANY
PARIS BEAUVAIS
Are these more new routes or system problem.
ACTUAL ROUTES LISTED ARE:
MANCHESTER-RENNES, PLYMOUTH
WATERFORD-RENNES
RENNES- JERSEY, CARDIFF, MANCHESTER
PARIS BEAUVAIS- CARDIFF
These look alot like Aer Arann routes
Is it a retaliation since Aer Arann launched CWL-DUB and ORK?
