I think it could be HB-JIB, but not 100%.

Never heard of British Jet before. How long they been around and what are they like? I saw you can get one way to Malta from Leeds for £24 plus tax not bad even if tax is £30

I think they started at the beginning of the summer 2005 season, the first flight they did was Malta-Leeds-Malta, I havent actually read anything about what the flights are like, the aircraft are operated by Hello Airlines, which is why the code is FHE and the callsign 'FlyHello'.

The punctuality of the airline appears to be superb, especially when they only have one aircraft.

They are a carrier based in Malta, using one MD-90 wet leased from Hello. LBARULES is right in the fact that they started at the beginning of the 2005 summer season. The carrier targets the leisure traveller and flies from several UK small airports, such as Leeds Bradford, to Malta (Luqa). As previously mentioned they do offer very competitive and cheap fares, it is my belief that they are more of a Low Cost entity.

Does it matter that Leeds was the first rotation, besides I heard that it was Manchester

It doesn't matter, it was just a point I was making, and believe me the 1st rotation was definitly Leeds Bradford.

Just to say, they fly to Manchester, London Gatwick, Nottingham East Midlands, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow and Newcastle.

Heres the thread that I started at the time, it arrived into LBA around 12:00 midday on the 1st of May. AFAIK it flew back to Malta, flew into LGW that night, then flew to MAN the next day.

Heres a photo of the MD90 at MAN on the 2nd

I stand corrected, no need to get that irate mate  , it didn't bother me that much - nor was it that important, just that I remember reading it somewhere

Sorry for getting 'irate' just annoying when two people you know dont have a clue, try to correct something you know is spot on.

British Jet starts into Cardiff from Malta this year.

I've just found the timetables on the britishjet website

They seem to be running from 20/07/06 to 07/09/06 once a week and the flight times are ridiculous! 04:30 departure from CWL to Malta and the flight to CWL leaves Malta at 00:30

The NCL flights fly via BHX inbound and outbound, the flight last week only ran from BHX due to the runway being closed up at EGNT. Pax were bused to and from BHX in order to catch the flight.

They seem to be combining alot of flights for the winter, the LBA flight goes via Nottingham East Midlands on the Inbound.

Going via BHX in/outbound in NCLs case is a strange one, can anyone see the point of doing MLA-BHX-NCL-BHX-MLA from the airlines point of view? Surely they could get the BHX passengers on and off in one go, on the aircrafts return from Malta, like the LBA flight does when it comes via NEMA.
