Well, the sun was shining this morning. :D

Shortly after taking this picture, I was moved on for the first time at MAN in over 25 years. Apparently I was "upsetting the crew".

You dont have to be on a flight to take a photo from that location, its about a 5 minute walk away from the terminal.

Brilliant shots!

A question - who are TCS Expeditions? I've not heard of them.

Some of those AA crews are paranoid! When I was in MAN the other week I was hanging around near their aircraft to get some nice shots and no one batted an eyelid. But in BRU in 2004 I was with a group of Belgian spotters taking videos and photos of an AA 767 as it was about to leave. Shortly after the police came and moved us on. That was the first and only time I've had hassles spotting.

Hmm, I thought that was Terminal 2.

The Qatar A332's livery looks simply brilliant! :) Then I would have to say that the Virgin Atlantic 744 looks great in VS colours but then again, I think any jet would look good in that particular livery.

Maybe the sight of a fat Manc with a woolly hat was too much for their delicate sensibilities, Allen. :D

Where was that pic taken from Lance? :)
I took the offending picture from the fence beyond the Eastern end of T3 - standing on the pavement by a public road within 20 metres of a bus stop. Oh well......

Thanks for the comments, chaps - and chapess. :)

Fantastic shots Grey! Whenever I drive past the spot in T3 I always think how I should get out one day and take the odd photo, I'll think again from now on...

The septics are so sensitive. They really need to get a life! If it were me I'd have bought you a coffee down the stairs. How do you take it?

If they ask you nicely, you say something nice back and walk off. If they ask rudely, give them a doggy look, and strut off.

It's what I do, anyway...

Thats where I thought it was taken, remember myself and Steve stopping off there for a quick look before we joined you lot on level 13 in August :).

Upsetting the crew? It's such a shame people think in this way when all someone is doing is simply taking photographs. Very, very sad you were moved on Lance, especially after 25 years!

Great shots nonetheless, I REALLY hope this doesn't become a regular occurrence. It's so frustrating that people's perfectly innocent hobbies are looked on in such a way. Sad, that's all I can say.

Thanks for the photos Lance.
