What aircraft are air scotland using this year. Given the rumours that the 757 is going to Jet2 does anybody know what operated the first scheduled flight of the season on Tuesday 17th Jan 2006??

Was there a flight on 17 Jan. I thought flights had been put back (Again!) until 22 Jan (And even that's iffy)

Sunday's flight (22nd) to Malaga listed on both Glasgow & Edingburgh departure boards.
Tickets available for £1 on air scotland website (actually works out at £34 with taxes, fuel surcharge and checking in payment??)

Today's GRE2711 GLA/EDI/AGP service was oprated by B752 SX-BLW.

19 PAX boarded at GLA and I think about 70 at EDI

Hope this if of interest.

Anyone else vote for a name change? Might help their public image, assuming the press don't put it on the front page! "Air Scotland now Scottish Airways". Most non-original name I could come up with :)

How about they just **** of back to Greece and call themselves Greece Airways, that'd be nice. ;)
