EDI possibly? There are no scheduled services to TFS from EDI currently, so there's a market there for them. If they do start if, no doubt Flyglobespan will follow! ;) However, Flyglobespan have slots for TFS this summer, although it's not been annouced, if they do operate it for the summer I don't know if they'd continue it into winter though...

Lets hope for a BFS/TFS route for the Winter.

BFS/TFS has always been very popular through out the year.

Even in the Winter we usually have 3/4 flights a week.

Strange, both Blackpool and Newcastle have the same flight times, and these indicate a based Tenerife aircraft.

Definitly not on a W from LBA, the times remain the same, operated by LBA based aircraft.

Maybe MAN/EDI-TFS to be announced in the future to clear that up?

Hi

Jet2 are basing one off there aircraft down in Tenerife next winter guys. This has now been comfirmed to me by someone with-in Channex. The aircraft and Crews will be supplied by the LBA Based aircraft and flight crews.

LBA flights have also changed from next winter 2006/07 season. They are now operateing as follows. Twice weekly Tuesday and Fridays. While in December a 3rd weekly flight will operate on a Sundays for 3 weeks over the Christmas period.

Flight times as follows

Leeds/Bradford - Tenerife South
-2--5-7 19:15-23:40 LS223
Tenerife South - Leeds/Bradford
-2--5-7 13:45-18:30 LS224

Look out cause there's a lot more to come still yet. Even More caneries flights to the other Islands. Including Las Palmas and mybe Arrecife. By the way Manchester will not be getting a Tenerife flight. As Airlines have this route alraedy covered two much.

Maybe Jet2 should try telling the passengers this! The times are identical to that on the Jet2 website, but the other way round, IE a 13:45 departure from LBA, and a 23:40 arrival back!

Hi Tom

Your right. Jet2 have now changed there times on the Leeds - Tenerife run for winter 2006/07. Its back to been operated by a LBA based B757-200 aircraft on the normal times. While both Newcastle and Blackpool flights will remain the same.

Its been comfirmed that Jet2 next base will be Tenerife South Airport with Two based B737-300's aircraft. All acounts Jet2.com are looking at operating flights to Belfast and Edinburgh from Tenerife and a spanish domestic run to Murcia. While not working all the time from TFS the aircaft will also work from one of the other islands.

TFS - Murcia sounds logical working as a 'W' to LBA and back from Murcia with the winter service, then a return service from Murcia to TFS. This would allow for the aircraft to be changed at LBA, as required, for servicing.
