-Superb shots Pete, reminds me what a great day it was! Typical the only time I received a phone call was when you were taking the photo of me!
Well i'm back now, arrived back on G-CELU (My first ever Jet2 flight was on CELU back in 2003), arrived back 12 minutes early, and was 9 minutes early going. Really can have absolutely no complaints about Jet2 yet again, they still remain my fave low cost airline.
Just a small thing, when waiting in the departure area in Pier H on the way back, G-CELF was on the adajcent stand, after pushback, the engines spooled into life, and there was a hell of alot of smoke been kicked out and a loud bang, which really shook the poor dispatcher! I take it this is normal as no action was taken? Never seen anything like it before!
Amsterdam is such a superb airport, puts Heathrow to shame in so many different ways!

-Life just isn't fair...You were watching planes at AMS and I spent another day in my little office on the road...
Then again, it will go towards funding my new Canon 350D that I should be ordering in a few weeks so all is not too bad :D
Glad you had a good day guys. I wish I could have joined you! Ah well...Myself and Tom have a vague plan to head to AMS round about August time so maybe we could have another meet then? Is anyine else up for it?

-I take it that was the photo message you sent me yesterday Paul? ;).
I really wish you could have come yesterday, but as I said I had a brilliant day anyway, and once again huge thanks to Pete.
I was telling Pete we planned to head back in August, for under £40, it would be rude not to! Such a brilliant place.

No mate, that was of my second home (tour bus) not my office! For the next three days I'm back home in a strangely static bed that doesn't travel down the motorway at 60mph...
I knew you'd love AMS. Unfortunately I've never been to any of the spotting locations around the airport, so I need to check them out at some point!

Hey guys,
Am currently sat in lounge two in AMS enjoying 15 minutes net access.
Trying to find a PC in here is like trying to find gold!
Anyway.
Have had a fantastic day here in AMS, flew over on G-CELD from LBA this morning, Jet2 great as usual, on time, friendly staff. Met up with Pete on the observation deck, and he showed me all the famous spots I had read so much about, many thanks Pete, your a star!
Anyway, fly home at 20:45, in seat 18A (Was given 22D this morning, luckily the people in E and F were moved because of the trim of the aircraft!).
Cya :)
