-Of course in my day we used to go to Turnhouse to stand on the spectators terrace on the old terminal (when it was still open) to view the assorted delights such as AF caravelles, Catair Connies, DC-6s, Dc-3s and the like. We didn't know we were born then... :-(

-Here is today's Air France 747-400 at Edinburgh from a different angle arriving at 11am and departing at 1-15pm.

-It is a long distance shot from the Footbridge so I put my 1.4x Extender on the 100-400mm for it leaving since I knew it would be quick up with only 60 passengers onboard heading back to Orly.

went to edinburgh today for the rugby
lots of charters and a few nice surprises
