You'll no get much more Spanish stuff at GLA as just about everywhere is covered, but I agree with you about Germany.

Sounds more like an attempt to take some of Fly Globespan's custom than Ryanair's ?

Interesting they finally decide to declare GLA a "hub" after all these years? We'll see how long all or any of these routes last in the fullness of time I guess ?

Not a very serious one in my opinion. Obviously GSM's yields/loads will be hit in the short term but GSM should be able to recover from it. Its the charters that will be hit the most

They'll do their usual "Look at our excellent punctuality and Easyjet's rubbish one" stunt again. They do it all the time, yet it's hardly surprising given they fly to airports where they are the only flight of the day and no ATC delays ;) .

A long overdue expansion I think. Berlin seems to be the new favourite destination with lo-cost airlines at the moment - with World Cup surely a good move.

GSM may suffer long term, as easyJet is a more well known company that them and it may persuade people to travel EZY. I would.

I'd argue than in Edinburgh and Glasgow atleast, Flyglobespan are just as well known as easyJet now. GSM also offer the added advantage of being able to book a flight+hotel package, which to places like AGP and ALC should allow them to keep a large share of the market.
