"Challenging" is indeed very apt....credit to some great piloting skills in getting them on the deck(without scraped wings)

My guess is that this year is the last chance you will get to fly on a B747SP. They are now 30 years old and are about to be replaced.
Don't waste the opportunity - otherwise you will live to regret it!

Had a job in Warrington so, along with Mr. E-GPK and a non member, we spent most of the day at MAN, then off to Liverpool (to follow) weather/lighting a bit poor in the morning, but, brightened up not bad in the afternoon, the wind, however, was mental all day with numerous go-arounds being performed,and some way dodgy landings too!!:
