-Great to see this one up and running. Shame about this morning's dreadful weather though. :( Was that the reason for the short delay or did they announce anything else? Any "ceremony" for the inaugural flight ex BHD?
Am looking forward to using them in October for BHD-STN-VIE (STN-VIE with NIKI), by which time they'll hopefully be using the 737-700s to STN.

-It might actually be helpful if he takes the plastic off before erm... licking it, ;)
Nevertheless, very nice photos! I kinda like that EZY one a lot.

-Nice shots, Andrew, excellent considering the atrocious conditions - on the subject of AB, looks as if all BHD flights will be F100 operated for the foreseeable future - apparently there is a problem with stand space - the wingleted 737s span is too big even for angled stands 4 & 5!

-Nice shots there Andrew, but isn't that Mark's Minolta Dimage Z10 camera? :D

Ah well. Fokker 100s it is then ..... Sounds like a plausible reason for the lack of 737s, though it's a shame. I can just picture a wingleted one disappearing over the city off 22. :)

It arrived 15 minutes late at 0900 then there was a Bfast Tele photocall with some competition winners. Aparently the cool fm winners didnt bother turning up for a week in vienna all paid according to my chat with Head of Marketing.
Boarding was very slow as only 1 enterance and we were let on in waves. Robert was upset as no window!

According to wannabe July onwards will be B737. They filled that F100 very easily and were only 2 free spaces. I noted all the 6 AB Marketing staff stayed at BHD after arriving on the STN. I did wonder when the A321 was sitting on 4 how they would fit a B737W in beside. They can fit A32X on 4 and 5 (4 will only ever be bmi) but i think B737W is wider?

moving on...
All in all good flight they gave us out a sweet that tasted identical to campino to help pressurisation then a ham or cheese roll and choice of Tea Coffee OJ, Tomato Juice or OJ. Very impressed bar we were row 21 which is last row and no window so Robert was upset!
Pics were just resized for forum nothing done. A330-300 i really like it too lol. We parked on 12 R across Cargo and then we were bused to 41 which the easyjet was beside so took that from the ramp.

-We had 2 spare seats going to STN making total of 103 and on way back i did a head count of 46. Me thinks 40-50 may be standard. More details in trip report.

-What's the policy regarding photography at Belfast City these days ? I thought it was frowned upon ?

-They will stop you airside but TBH all you will get is limited shots of bottom half of a Dash 8 or more commonly a Bae 146.
In the Cafe its fine and has good views over stands 4 to 8. There were 2 other spotters there when i was there earlier, who i assume were waiting for AB to land!

Here are some quick uploads from Robert Hamilton and myself. Robert is the muppet eating a sandwich... Trip Report later on probably.
All were taken with my new Minolta Dimage Z10 Camera. Nice Camera.
