Just wondering, though I couldn't find a way of doing a poll so it'll have to be on replies.

Do you:

Just load up random flights, as an when you feel like and go-fly.

Are you part of a "group" of VA's, e.g. Air Source, The Flying Tigers Group

Are you part of a single VA flying specific types etc for one "airline."

Do you guys still do the code-share stuff? I'm kinda enjoying buzzing around the US but sometimes I think about coming back to the UK to fly hehe!

I fly mainly GA aircraft, also Warbirds and helicopters (great for sight seeing)

I'm a member of the 'Emma Field Flying Club', Emma Field is a fictional airfield (scenery add-on) in Washington State in the US. I also fly a lot in Alaska and Canada because it's a beautiful place to fly

When I fly in the UK it tends to be short hops using UK2000 and Photoscenery. I rarely fly tubeliners, on the rare occaision I do it tends to be the classic stuff.

Cheers,

Bruce

Yes to all three. I have a diverse collection of aircraft - old warbirds, a Stearman and some helicopters that I just fly for the fun of it when I want a low level flight over a place with some decent scenery or want to go a bit mad in an airport with a hard climb away or approach.

I joined Flying Tigers because at the time I wanted to fly for Delta and Lufthansa and Flying Tigers has both.

But my main flying is done for a small number of single VAs - British Airways (my most regular), SN Brussels, Austrian, Luxair, Iberia. My favourite types to fly are - Twin Otter, Airbus A319/320/321, 737, CRJ, BAe 146/ARJ and the ERJ.

My Stearman is the Stearman Kaydet by Dave Eckert, the files are on AVSIM and there are loads of repaints available for it. There's FS2002 and FS2004 ones and it is a beauty to fly. It's a superb looking model as well.

I've also got a nice collection of vintage British jets - 1-11, Comet 4, Trident and VC10.

Do you know if there are any UTTERLY BUTTERLYS livery Stermans?

Is there a 450 Stearman out there? Flying on a PC has got to do more for my life expectancy than trying to fly the real thing.......
I will master it however.............

On the rare moments when I actually fly, I try to keep my Byanes Twin Bee from toppling over as it goes down the runway (darn narrow track), or my Horden-Richardson Autoplane is a nice fly about - not too powerful with only two 40hp Continentals.

B-52H on MSCFS2, I just love planting Mushrooms of the B83 type, got to be at 30,000ft and 400 kts however or your tail gets blown off and the display flickers a bit. My VC-10 in BOAC markings is fun as well, even comes with 20mm Cannon fitted. to be honest, lost interest in flying from A to B for no reason long ago.
