First trip report guys so go easy on me.

OK the day started at 4am when i roused my self from bed and drove to newcastle airport parking my car in a mates garage to cut down on costs hehe.

Any who checking opened at 05.00am so i made my way over and checked in quickly making light chit chat with the agent an old mate from collage. I headed for the departure lounge and as ever set the alarms off!! :diablo: I then headed for the seating area of the lounge to get a look at the aprons and was impressed by how busy ncl was.

Aircraft on stand:

Thompson fly:1 Boeing 757
1 Boeing 737

My Travel: 1 Airbus A320.

Easyjet: 4 Boeing 737-700s

Jet2.com: 1 Boeing 737-300 getting her seats put back in after mail run.

Flyjet: 1 Boeing 757-200 *looks rather dashing for once*

Thomas cook: 1 Boeing 757-200

British Airways : 1 Airbus A319
1 Boeing 737-500

Unidentified: 1 AN-12

So after stareing at the apron for a good 10 minutes i grabbed a copy of FHM from WHSMITHS and ate 2 of the pastys i had bought from greggs and awaited my flight to be called.

My flight was then called and i made my way to gate 4 which is at ground level, just below the BA lounges and airbridge. After a 20 minute wait we were told that due to a shortage of bus's there would be a short delay which i found rather stupid as my plane was only parked on stand 2!!. Once the bus showed up we made the short ride over to the aircraft which was a boeing 737-700 GEZJG getting off the bus i made my way to the wing escape seats as been a lanky fellow i like my leg room.

Once all the passengers were boarded there seemed to be a problem with a passengers bagguage which took 45 minutes to clear up. Eventully we began our taxi to runway 07.

Lineing up on the runway we then powered down the runway lifting off and turning directly over newcastle and set of down to bristol.

Shortly after take off the cabin crew served a snacks service i bought a can of orange juice downing it in one!! Then the captain anounced we were over Liverpool which just took me by suprise so i pulled out my ipod and listened to the red hot chilli peppers until we began our decent into Bristol which took us over Bristol Filton there a i saw concorde and i belive a beluga but i was not sure.

Soon after that we landed and then taxied back down the runway as the main taxi way was under going maintance. The ramp at Bristol was quiet, Aircraft included:

EASYJET: 1 A319

BA CONNECT: 2 Embraer ERJ 145

First choice: 2 A320.

Taxing up to the stand i departed by the front door and made my way into the arrivals area grabbed my bag and caught the bus to Bristol temple Meads to continue my journey to Swansea.

Part 2 will follow soon

Thank you for reading.

Good report. :) :)

Unidentified: 1 AN-12

This one? It's LZ-VEA of VEGA Airlines, it's been on the ground since the 13th.

Cheers guys! Yeh thats the one britannia seemed to be a bit of activity round her last night when we were taxing in.

EDIT: INFORMATION FROM PPRUNE REGARDING AN-12:

"The crew from the AN-12 has disappeared. Airside ops now want to impound the aircraft. The aircraft flew tires into Newcastle the other week and the crew stayed in a local hotel. There were about 10 crew members, They checked out the hotel the next day and no one has seen them since."
