RE: 1,000 posts special-Where are you all from?
Rather Koksijde than Scarborough Geforce. Scarborough is HORRID!!!!!!!!!! Shops closed down and left empty and derelict for years. Soon our last town centre supermarket is to close and be replaced by a hardware store. Many hotels have closed down and been converted into hostel accommodation for criminals and drug addicts. The buses stop here at 6pm, the train service is pathetic. In summer the streets reek of vomit, especially on a hot day. If I wasn't unfortunate enough to live in this vile pathetic excuse for a town I would never visit it or come anywhere near it.

I am from Oudenaarde, which is in the East Flanders region of Belgium. My town is well known for the beer industry, we have several breweries, with Roman and Liefmans being the most famous. The best local beer is Sloeber. You would like it here Comet:-)

weston super mud
JA you leave weston super mud alone its a lovely place lol!! very many chippies run by very non british people, along with the arcades which are really cool!!
weston, as rabie was surely trying to say, was also a victorian town, and many places such as scarborough and weston super mare were very popular victorian holidaying resorts-hence the extensive piers etc etc- how else would places like scarborough and bognor regis get into folk lore!!
I have only ever seen the sea up at weston super mare ONCE and that was at 2.30 in the morning. The sea bed is soo flat it goes out an awful long way, and then comes back an awful long way pretty fast.
other than that binoculars should suffice.
I am currently living in Bristol, not my home town, whilst slogging through university.

Wish I was at uni in Bristol, they have a vet school at least, which is far better than marine biology.
