So far as I know Philo, the Noratlas' only display was at the 50's Festival of Flying at Coventry, which did'nt give many people a chance to see her.I think it is a real shame that she is not booked more often here in the UK as she is a very characteristic machine which would surely would give her lots of 'What on earth is that?' appeal at shows.Let's not forget that she is also powered by Bristol (albeit Snecma-built) Hercules engines.
Fingers crossed that she'll be seen more often in future over here :)

Yes Ant, Coventry 50's was the only display the NordNoratlas did and as you say its a pity because its a very interesting aicraft. This was in fact the one and only time i had seen one in the flesh, lets hope it wasn't the last. Also lets hope that Air Atlantique are able to stage more of the same as both the 50's shows were great.
As far as posting the pictures go this was my first atttemp on this forum after the revamp and it was very easy. When you open the post template go to the 'attachments' prompt and open your windows explorer, locate the file and roberts your relative.
I will post another picture soon, dont know what of yet, I'll just pick one from the many that I have burned to CD. In fact i might just post a picture of the day, every day.

I'm all for you posting piccies, but is there any chance you can edit the size of the picture you're posting. I'm sure a smaller picture would use up less bandwidth or whatever the technical term is. It's a good facility to have and it would be a shame to lose it due to the size of files being posted.
Just a thought.......

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-11-01 AT 12:45 PM (GMT)]Oh cool! Now we can post pics! I've not been on for ages I thought the forum was dying! I hope you don't mind me putting this on here! It was taken at Woodford in 1991 but my lens jammed in the full zoom position! Hopefully I'll be able to get another one soon eh?
Paul.
