-I would think that as it has lived in a container for 15 years its a little away from being airworthy.

Having a working knowledge on it's sister SM969 i can confirm it will be a long way away from being airworthy.

-Very original condition aeroplane, fitted with MkXVI port wing, dismantled and containerised in November 1992. Requires extensive overhaul, stored Greenham Common, owner not interested in selling.

I think the QM is still round the back somewhere at Newark Air Museum, which is where IIRC the combination was originally displayed

anybody know what is happening with this bird, as it constantly sits under the airworthy box so to speak, but hasn't been seen for a number of years.
Daz, i'm looking at you here for an answer..........:D
