Hello,

Can anyone help me? As an amateur photographer who subject is retro style from the 40’s, 50’s & 60’s. I wonder is there anyone here that would be willing to have their aircraft used as a backdrop for photo shoots? The models I use are my friends and are not professionals. However they have researched their subjects well and go to great length to look right for the era’s concerned. We have a great interest in the periods mentioned and do this as a hobby. We would like shoot with any light aircraft from the periods in question, either civil or military. I would also like to shoot with WWII fighters and 1950’ jets if possible too. Any photos that come from a shoot will NOT be used commercially by me. As I say it’s a hobby only.

Thanks

Dave

Here’s an example of my work.

I'd be happy for our 1960s PA22 to be so used.

Howabout recreating these old Taylorcraft adverts? You have the models + camera, I have the plane (Leicester-based)

I'll see if I can dig out the Piper ads from the 60s. Generally showed a square jawed couple climbing out of the PA22 on the starting tee at a golf course.

I'd guess the greenkeeper would be a bit miffed if you tried that at Royal Birkdale
