Hello Everyone: I will be going Barcelona Spain in next month and I was wondering if any of my European Aviation brothers would have an Idea where I should go. I don't know if I can make it anywhere other than Barcalona. Also I heard of a guy that bought a complete WWII museum in Belgum. It was said to contain several aircraft and engines that are to be shipped to Indiana, USA. The rumor is the collection contains 15 ship loads of stuff. I know this is a little much but there seems to always be an element of truth to rumors. Thanks Chuck

I will be in Spain from the 9th thru the 19th of FEB with my wife who will be doing work related stuff. I did work for a Airline but as you say I was "sacked" so I am able to go also. The airline I worked for is Farming out all of their maintenance to second party vendors. Just as well, I rather do sheet metal work on Warbirds anyway!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-01-03 AT 07:52 AM (GMT)]On aviation, there isn't much around in the Barcelona aerea. Forget about Tablada, apart from the fact that there is nothing anymore, it is a 1000 km from Barcelona. However, in a way you are lucky. On Sunday February 16, the first airshow/display of the Parc Aeronautic de Catalunya , Spain's second largest historcal aircraft group, will be held. Place to be is Sabadell Airfield, which is very close near Barcelona. Best option to go there is by train (unless you have a car, but it is very difficult to find)and then take a short walk to the field. Be there at around 10.30 (when it starts) and at around 13.30 everything is over. They have some nice aircraft there. BW Roger
