The Caribbean Family of Aircraft
I think I’ve mentioned before that my favourite aircraft tends to be the one I’m reviewing at the time. This is particularly true of GA aircraft because these are the ones I’m actually licensed to fly.
Yet like most private pilots, my main experience has been with club aircraft, simply because you need to have pretty deep pockets to own your own aeroplane. The point is that in my experience most club aircraft are either basic Piper or Cessna aircraft, so they’re nothing like the Tobago and Trinidad models we have here in this latest review from Just Flight.
This product is unusual in that you get two aircraft for the price of one. Granted they are pretty similar but they are distinctly separate models; the primary difference is that the TB-20 Trinidad has a retractable undercarriage whereas the TB-10 Tobago has a fixed one. I’ll mention some of the other differences as I go through the review, but first a few words about the aircraft and their lineage.
