BUSINESS AVIATION facilities at the UK’s third busiest airport have been further enhanced following the opening of a new fixed base operator (FBO) and ground handling services facility. Weston Aviation becomes the third FBO at Manchester, which is also home to Signature Flight Support and Premiere Handling.
The new services will bring the firm’s current FBO network to five locations including Gloucestershire, Humberside, Newquay and Cork airports. Speaking at the Air Charter Expo at London Biggin Hill Airport, Nick Weston, CEO and founder of Weston Aviation, said: “Our Manchester operation will enable us to offer new and existing customers a wideranging portfolio of services.”
Rad Taylor, operations director at Manchester Airport, added: “We are delighted to welcome Weston Aviation to Manchester Airport. As a well-respected FBO operator at four airports, we are looking forward to working with them on their new venture.”
Established in 1995, Weston Aviation provides a range of services including fuel, de-icing, hangarage and cargo handling.
