Finnair: Sustainable Success

Twelve months into his new role, Finnair CEO Topi Manner is preparing to launch an ambitious five-year plan which aims to future-proof the airline. Fellow Finn Satu Dahl visited Manner at the firm’s Helsinki headquarters to talk fleet, sustainability and a rather big birthday.

After touching down at an ever-changing Helsinki Airport and marvelling at the wealth of development since my last visit, I make journey to Finnair’s equally stylish headquarters. It is there that I meet the airline’s chief executive officer, Topi Manner who is feeling buoyant upon reflecting on his first twelve months in the job.
