Flight Sim Development Group (FSDG) has released Rhodes XP for X-Plane 11.
Known as the Island of Knights, Rhodes is one of the more popular destinations in the Aegean. It features two airports, Diagoras International Airport and Maritsa, a military airfield that is often used for motorsports events. With the new apron layout, Diagoras Airport now has more parking spots to satisfy the growing tourism demand of more than 5 million passengers per year.
The package from FSDG is a detailed rendition of Diagoras International Airport (LGRP) based on 2019 data with animated jetways and ground traffic. Other highlights include realistic shadows, night lighting and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials. A custom mesh for LGRP is also included with underground garage entries towards the apron.
FSDG has included complete coverage of Rhodes island and Maritsa Airport (LGRD) with high-resolution aerial imagery, night lighting and autogen. It also comes with landmarks such as hotels, solar parks, olive plantations, wind generators, greenhouses and more.
Rhodes XP is available as a download on the Aerosoft online shop for €25.20.
