A selection of the most interesting aircraft to visit air bases in the UK recently.

One of two US Marine Corps Bell-Boeing MV-22B Ospreys that passed through RAF Mildenhall on August 23 en route to Glasgow Prestwick Airport for a detachment. The aircraft, 168347/EM- 15 (pictured) and 168626/EM-07, are from VMM-261 at MCAS New River, North Carolina but are temporarily assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa at Morón AB in Spain. They left Scotland heading back to Spain on August 28.
