Flying Legends in 1995 and 2015. Some of the aircraft on the Duxford flightline may have changed, but the scene remains pretty timeless, and the event’s magic is unchanged.

May Bank Holiday Monday in 1993 was when it all started. That inaugural one-day Flying Legends show was a fairly small affair, but the signs of something special were definitely there. In the 25th anniversary year of The Fighter Collection’s ‘toe in the water’ exercise, its influence is not in doubt.
