SWISS takes the LEAD

Peter Koch, C Series Fleet Chief, talks to Airliner World’s James Ronayne about Swiss International Air Lines’ first year of operations with Bombardier’s innovative short-haul airliner.

The world was watching when launch customer Swiss International Air Lines put its first Bombardier C Series into service. The carrier debuted its maiden CS100, HB-JBA (c/n 50010) on flight LX638 between Zürich and Paris/Charles de Gaulle on July 15 last year. Swiss now has seven CS100s operating a variety of European routes from Zürich and Geneva, with its first CS300 due for delivery in May.
