Eastbourne International Airshow (Airborne) 2020

One of the UK's biggest seafront airshows takes place across four days in August. Eastbourne International Airshow (Airborne) returns in 2020 for its 28th successive year.

With masses of spectators, the noted seafront airshow boasts a 2-mile long display line, giving visitors plenty of space to see the action in the air. On the ground there are a variety of ground displays, trade stalls and demonstrations to keep attendees with all interests entertained.

The 2019 show saw military and civil acts take to the skies along the seafront. With the RAFAT Red Arrows out of the country on their US tour, the Breitling Jet Team stepped in to thrill the crowd. Other notable military acts include the RAF's Boeing Chinook, Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4 and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF). Civilian acts saw a rare display from the Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron fly its Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 in formation with its Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star, on its debut year on the UK display circuit.

Alongside the Blackpool Airshow, Eastbourne suffered similar weather conditions throughout the week which saw cancellations of some display acts throughout the days.
