Its a nice pic, but the best pic of an Air India 747 I have ever seen is this one: Just great against that sky! :D

I agree with not liking the colour scheme. But i like the way the windowas are done

Whatever happened to the Air India scheme from a few years ago.. I seem to remember seeing a 747-300 in "Air Transport World" with a new livery.

One of these had a tyre blow out today up at LHR... held up take off traffic for 20minutes!!! Aircraft was delayed by 1 1/2 hours. There begining to become common, tyre blow outs.

lol When I went on air india a bird got stuck in the engine. thats more common

Nice pics all.:cool: I have seen a tyre blow out only once, and that was at PMI, ack in 98. A BA 320.

kabir that second picture in the wet is fantastic. that colour scheme is very dated but it somehow manages to look good on a 744 mind you i dont think you could have a bad looking 744

I saw a Virgin 747 Tyre blow out last year up at LHR, whilst on a roll for take off. Heard a loud bang, and then saw 4 or 5 fire engines rush down the runway... very exciting. :p

yes..AI B744 pics in LHR wether look fantastic.
