-Love those things, saw one of their white 741s and one of these painted 742s in Amsterdam the other day, superb aircraft!!

-Our twice-weekly "Connie 207" goes to Amsterdam and therefore doesn't use too much of the runway, but today's extra flight went to Newark, New Jersey. "Connie 239" seemed to be pushing his luck with the runway length just a bit, presumably due to the heavier than normal fuel load!!! :eek: He was rather close as he passed over my head!!! :cool:

-Is that the same airport where the BMI 734 crashed just short of the airport after shutting down the wrong engine some years back????????

-Yep,on the M1 embankment,although some people did get killed in this tragic accident,it was a miracle that it didnt happen at rush hour,otherwise many more people could of been hurt/killed
