-Whats the length compared to a 744 or A346????
By: 6th October 2004 at 12:38 Permalink - Edited 1st January 1970 at 01:00
-Yes the plane does look quite short for a plane of its size
cant wait to see the maiden flight

-The scariest thing is, despite its size the plane feels short to me- almost like a 747SP. That fuselage is almost begging for a stretch version that will make the proportions look 'right'.
Funny, I was thinking how similar the two types look when compared side by side...

-The massive wing takes out alot of fuse from the shot making it look more stumpy as you brain doesnt compensate for all of the gap.

-that is amazing, those two techies near the main landing gear gives it a size comparison,on a lighter note, you would think airbus would get a taxi to give them a lift from the front to the rear of the aircraft.

-Nice big bird, but it looks so small..

-Despite its' size, looking at the front end (landing gear and forward) I can't help think that there's something undefinably Airbusesque about it

-A340-600 is nearly 6 meters longer than the B747-400. The A380 is shorter than the A340-600 but I don't know by how much.

-The A346 is 2.30m longer as thee A380

Look at the size of that thing!
The scariest thing is, despite its size the plane feels short to me- almost like a 747SP. That fuselage is almost begging for a stretch version that will make the proportions look 'right'.
If this is enormous enough, imagine a A380-900 with an extra 100 seats or so...
