Hello All,

One of my work mates is going to Melbourne from Glasgow via Dubai this Tuesday and I was wondering if anybody has access to a system that can tell if the flight is full or not?

Any help welcome :)

Cheers

Hi DME

Tell him to go here

https://www.checkmytrip.com/ITN/LoginServlet?SITE=ITN&LANGUAGE=US

He will need his Amadeus reservation number, he should have this - if not his booking agent will give him it.

Oldtimer2, how did you get that information? (if you don't mind me asking).

It would be useful to have access to it, well, if RIPConcorde can assist with reading it!

Thanks

Oh God. ;) I still don't fully understand, but having asked around when I was confused:

J7 C7 Y9 W9 M9 B9 K9 H9 Q9 L9 T9 V9

Basically, each letter there is a different fare class, with the cheapest ones generally filling first. 9 is the max number and means that there is atleast 9 seats availabilty in each fare class.
There must be someone here who can give the proper explanation of how to interpret it?

J & C are the business class fares. The rest are economy.
There are 7 business class seats left on the flight. There are at least 9 economy seats left on the flight.

Having a quick look through all EK flights, 7 is seems to be the largest number biz class availability goes to, so that mean there is atleast 7 seats available in each fare class.

I'm not 100% certain as RES systems are not my forte.

Go here and download the excellent Availabilty Tool

http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~hartberg/ft/SabretoolSetup.htm

The server isn't always active but it will give a time when it is up again.

BTW the installation file is in German but is easy to follow, the tool is in English.

I think they do everytime yourself and our GLA opinionated friend decide to aim not so subtle digs at each other.
