The ERJ has been used on Teesside flights on a Saturday night too (don't know if it is the case this year or not but certainly in the past), so you're not alone down there at LBA!

I understand even MAN get them on weekend LHR-MAN flights

The ERJ is a great aircraft - flew LBA to Clermont Ferrand via BRU - LBA-BRU on a 145 then BRU to Clermont on an Air France 135 (the return journey from Clermont was on a Embraer 110 that's another story, but it was terrible!!). It's the nearest you'll get to flying a private jet!

Flex - will you stop talking about threads going against what they originally did, its called 'going off on a tangent', many threads dont end up what they were meant to be at the start, often makes for good conversation. I dont have one problem with it in my thread, if Elgan and Michael want to talk about that, tis fine by me :)

I thought my return from LHR when I go in August was an ERJ145 on my return but that seems to have changed to an A320 inbound and an A319 outbound.
