Fly High Ben, Fly High
(I actualy originaly did this for his last home coming. It features what I'm tolds was his 3 most favourite topics. Aviation, the 757 and of course Newcastle United.
Sadly I never got it to him, so I've modified it accordingly.)

This is terrible news, my condolences to Ben's family, friends, girlfriend. I have not been on the forums for a day or two and when I logged on today, this was the first thread I read. It reminds me of the moment I read about Steve, you don't know other forum members personally but when you have discussions with them online, they are like friends, if you know what I mean. It is really a shock to read news like this, and so tragic for the forum to have lost two members, who both had so much to live for, in such a short time.

Although I never got to know him well, as I haven't been here too often or too long, I respect the impact he has made to this forum and send my best wishes and thoughts to his family.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
RIP Ben

Another e-mail. It seems that the date of the funeral has been re-arranged.
Hello all,
Again, thank you all for your sympathy and kindness. The funeral of Ben is now scheduled for Thursday at 2pm at the West Road Crematorium, Newcastle upon Tyne. I'm sure "wor Ben" would be happy and grateful for the condolences and support you have given, you could not have helped much more.
Thank You all so very much,
Terri Wallace
