-WOW, i thought we had lots of traffic over Newcastle, i seen 17 or summit contrails yesterday, not a mark on yours.

-The U turn may have been an inflight refueller turning around to do it all again. Could have been a turn back too. Calibration? THere are all sorts of reasons for a U turn.

Just happed to look up from the back garden and saw this vapour trail, never seen a complete 'u' turn before!! :rolleyes:
Must have been a busy day today overhead as the second image shows too!!
PS There not dust marks on the sensor, but molten meatl in the double glazing!!!
