FLYGLOBESPAN, Scotland's leading low-fares airline, produced another stellar performance as it recorded a 50 per cent rise in both profits and passenger numbers last year.
The Edinburgh carrier's contribution to the profits of the Globespan Group rose to £3.1 million from £2m in the 12 months to 31 October, while passenger numbers increased by 50 per cent to almost 1.5 million.
The group saw turnover rise to £163m from £98m, profits increasing to £6.2m from £3.7m.
