Im sure someone once told me FCA dont use thrust reverse unless they have to.

Thanks for the kind comments chaps, I thought the South side would be packed but only a handful of people around, mind you it was blomin freezing, I don’t know how some of those shots turned out half decent due my shaking hands, but was worth it to nail the LR, she was squeaky clean.

Im sure someone once told me FCA dont use thrust reverse unless they have to.

the image might show the engines at "idle thrust reverse" - what you may have been told is that they don't go beyond idle thrust (i.e. "spool up") reverse unless they have to - i.e. the reverses are activated, but the pilot does not advance the throttles any further

Er.... why did a 777LR need to route from Everett to Karachi via MAN ? Not complaining, I just thought they's have made a big fuss of doing point to point, or am I missing the point ? ;)
