Boeing (NYSE:BA) will broadcast worldwide the Nov. 14 rollout ceremony of its newest jetliner, the 777-300ER (Extended Range). This is the world's first jetliner rollout broadcast via the Internet.

The broadcast from Boeing's final assembly factory in Everett will be available for viewing on the Internet beginning at 3 p.m. (PST), Nov. 14, 2002, at http://www.boeing.com/commercial/777family/rollout/. Inability to immediately view the event may occur due to heavy traffic on the site.

The event will bring together more than 4,000 employees, customers, partners and suppliers to celebrate the completion of a first-of-model airplane. The ceremony is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. The 777-300ER is the fourth of the five versions currently planned in the 777 family.

"This is an exciting opportunity for the 777 team to share its accomplishment with others around the world," said Lars Andersen, Boeing 777 Longer Range program manager. "The ceremony we have planned will recognize the people around the world who helped design and build this airplane, and who ultimately will use it in service."

The ceremony will include a dramatic unveiling of the airplane, which has a striking red, white and blue paint scheme. Featured speakers include Alan Mulally, Boeing Commercial Airplanes president and CEO; Dave Calhoun, president and CEO of Cincinnati -based GE Aircraft Engines, and Andersen.

Video of the ceremony, airplane and manufacturing also will be available to the media on Nov. 14 from 18:00-18:30 Eastern time on the following satellite frequencies.
