RE: Concorde

Well all of BA's concordes will undergo work to line the fuel tanks with approximately 100 Kevlar-rubber liners per aircraft which will cost £17,000 for each of those 100 liners. Also work will be carried out to install armoured stainless steel hydraulic cables and protection for the 115-volts brake fan leads - the only electrical supply under the aircraft from which sparks can emanate.I also think they are doing something on the wheels. The wheels of the air france concorde that crshed was different to the wheels on the ba concordes so i'm not sure

Michelin have made a new tyre for the French aircraft which hopefully will be stronger than the old design
