-the IFE crashed many times, they had to do a general reset, to no avail.
IFE was crap compared to EK's

Why the braking? There's a reason...water just a few meters.

-Moved to commercial as more appropriate. Historic is on the whole for discussion of aircraft that are out of service.

-Interesting to see these photos after my recent flight with Singapore Airlines on a A380. Their IFE never crashed once, and was switched on as soon as the plane was in the air and turned off at the very last moment, which was fun tracking the route!
Great photos, thanks for sharing :)

Ok sorry about this.
There are two IFE providers, Thales and Panasonic.
I have flown the EK A380 and it worked fine, also.

-Just my 2 cents....
IFE has crashed twice for me on SIA A380 flights, once it just got stuck in a loop for last half of the flight:

-That one is Panasonic. It happened to my boss also (on Singapore), but only to a few seats.
Every seat seams to have a local small-PC with linux, and these may have problems on an individual basis.
In AF all that to be shut down and the problem as in the server.

Ok, this is not old per se, but is nonetheless historic, since F-HPJA was the first European A380 in operation!!
Here it is in primary colours at Blagnac about a year ago:
the flight is LIS-CDG-JFK-YHZ, but lets cut the crap and move to CDG-JFK leg in the A380.
F-HPJA first A380 in European carriers.

Boarding upper-deck (93A)
