Did it again last month, second time to Tokyo in 6 months so money is a little tight now. Great time again meeting my friends over there, with the weather a little warmer this time too. And...... got engaged too! Yes I met my Japanese fiancée's family and got their blessing as well. :D

Hope she'll be back here with me soon....will depend on the DIMIA now.

Love flying with Singapore Airlines, great service, food, and great inflight entertainment options too. However, I do need to do the trip 5 times to earn a free trip with them and their Krisflyer Frequent Flyer (FF) program. And my fiancée hates the time it takes, which is about 16 hours all up. Brisbane-to-Singapore is about 7 hours, and then its about 2-3 hours in transit at Changi, and then 6 hours to Tokyo.

She prefers the direct flight, a straight 8 hours from Brisbane to Tokyo. So maybe next time I will do that instead, I do have QANTAS FF membership too after all.

If we do Europe for the honeymoon I will make sure we fly SQ!

:)

I enjoy flying with the Japanese... the flights are a bit like Takashi's Castle, in the nicest possible way of course.

Fun loving people who are not afraid to express themselves....

Looking forward to my JAL flights in November.

Nice ring, good size. Not ostentatious and awful looking like some of those big rocks. :)
