I was wondering what navigation tools you guys use, and what generally is out there. I am instrument rated in real life, and I fly most of my flights under IFR rules in FS9. I am looking for a nav tool that will help me with my planning, a step up from the rather basic one in FS9. I have looked at FsNavigator, but did not like the fact that it is a "stand alone" product, with its own autopilot and such. I guess what I am looking for is a detailed planning tool, where I can load the flightplan into FS9 and also print out a realistic flightplan..as opposed to the "Mickey Mouse" default one. Any ideas?? Thanks Ken

Helican you don't have to use FSNavs autopilot, you can plan the route and just fly it, I use it to plan a route and then enter it into the FMC of the relevant aircraft and just watch my plane fly on fsnav with it's moving map feature, I don't know of any flight sim planner out there that will let you print out the flight plan to make it look like the real format, maybe someone else does? Thanks Dean I thought about that, but I also want it to be loaded into FS itself, for ATC....I know ATC is not very realistic, but it helps with my Ultimate Traffic setup. I might have to manually change all the waypoints in FS default nav, to get it to work...but was hoping to not have to Maybe we just can't have it all..... Ken

Helican Mate you can export the FSNav flight plans to flight sim, it's really easy, then just load that flightplan and file it with flight sim ATC, piece of cake ;) if you need help give me a shout Dean
