Like most of you I am always on the lookout for something to add a bit of excitement to the FS experience. I know we have Missions in FSX and something similar in the Flights section in FS2004 but I have came across a lovely "flight" available via AVSIM of a re-enactment of a Wartime flight of a Sunderland from Oban, Scotland to Dar-es-Salaam in Africa. The route goes via Gibraltar, Sicily Egypt etc and the download also contains scenery and AI files to enhance the experience.(Oban has 4 other Sunderlands at anchor, there are various Naval ships, a German submarine etc as well as Catalina`s,Swordfish, Hurricanes etc all of which make for a really enjoyable series of flights.) Look on the Avsim website library section and type in Harry Levy and it will come up with all the files you need. Installation is no problem. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am retracing my Uncles route who actually flew that during the war. Please take time to send a mail to the author thanking him for all his efforts!

wave back then I.ve tried but though I have downloaded, I don.t know how to attach them to fsx. In fact I'm having problems in activating the various scenery settings in the fsx Scenery Library. There's no instructions available. Can anyone help with the procedure to follow? Thanks. ericrw.

Are you installing in FS2004 or FSX? If you have followed the instructions in the read me files it should be a case of adding the scenery via your add-on scenery pages in the flight sim. Any problems with installation I found the author to be very helpful and approachable. His email address is also in the read me files. Any problems let me know. Colin
