Hi all, I currently have FS2002 at the moment (:o, but might be upgrading to FSX tommorrow!:D). I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find some legitimate add-ons for both of these versions of flight simulator?

If you mean you are after software that is compatible with both versions of the simulator, I'm not sure there are any.

No, sorry I did not mean that, although I do how it came across...I was asking about add-ons for each?

I'd recommend any of the PMDG series. Their website is www.precisionmanuals.com Take a look and see what you think. They have add on's such as the B737-600/700, B737-800/900 and the B747-400 It all really depends on what sort of add on you really want. Afterall there are plenty out there to choose from Adam

If you're looking for freeware add ons you could do a lot worse than search the libraries at AVSIM.com and FLIGHTSIM.com Bruce

So far, I only own 1 add-on for FSX given the short time since my upgrade, which is Just Flight's A340-500/600 which to be honest, I'm not particularly happy with as it has a few issues. These include the MFD's being blank in VC, but functioning in 2D Panel mode and no sound in the external views to name but two. Can't say I'd recommend it. Back to the point though, add on aircraft for FSX are a bit thin on the ground as it stands, although an absolute corker, Level-D's awesome 767-300ER, was just recently patched for FSX compatibility. A few others like PMDG's 737 NGX and 747X are also on the way too. But what I'd like to see are some decent 777 and A330 packages for FSX, but I'm not aware of any in the pipeline as it stands.

Level D has just released a FSX version of its mighty impressive 767-300 PMDG has announed a FSX version of its 747-400 and Queen of the Sky's (Freighter Version) it is also developing a A320 plane for FSX only, which is due in the 18 months/2 years
