Sorry for interrupting EGTC but I have recently downloaded the Chipmunk onto FSX, how can I alter the aircraft's serial number to be that of WP840?

If you open up the BMP texture file that contains that part of the fuselage you can paint over + re-add your own reg. It will have to remain for personal use though because to distribute it on the likes of avsim will require the original repainters permission.

You will probably need Martin Wright's DXTbmp program to open the texture files for editing, but then you'll find changing letters fairly straightforward.
