Hi all,

Bob - The update is happening this weekend, what I meant to write was "I'll be happy to see it gone" - thanks for bringing that to my attention, I'll edit that post.

Bruce - The spammers has been noted. I've passed it on as an urgent matter.

Update this weekend guys, as far as I know the forum won't go down as a result but I'm hoping its a step in the right direction.

Regards,
Khalem

I did have a forum thread returned in a Duck Duck Go query today, so that's an improvement.

Khalem,

Improvements are noted.

Forum search is a start, but it doesn't work - A simple search on 'Duxford Diary', returns six pages of results, all from 2010, none of them bringing up the appropriate threads.

Page width is much better, though posters names are in an odd place. Comment box is also much better.

Could do with losing the 'Privacy settings' blue box still, which gets in the way of typing.

Evening all,

Yep! Lots more to do but its a start at least!

Bruce - I've noted the privacy settings tab prior as it's been mentioned a couple of times. Developers are in the process of migrating Duxford Diary back over, it won't happen overnight but it will return. It didn't migrate properly with everything else.

Bob - Developers know about the font colour/ style.

I'll update you all as and when I hear about the next tranche of updates, which should be soon!

My issue wasnt specifically with that thread - more that the search engine isn't working as it should. Sorry.

I seem to be suffering from very slow access times as well.

Khalem, good to see some improvements - thank you for your involvement.

Can you please advise the intentions regarding:

Restitution of functionality to hyperlinks included in posts. At present clicking on these simply takes the reader back to the top of the page;

Restitution of the showing of number of views of threads;

Restitution of the showing of the number of views of photos posted on threads;

Restitution of photo images thumbnails rather than bars on which to click.

These functions are all helpful in research-based threads.

Hi BobKat,

Thanks for feedback, we’re working to prioritise updates to the forum with our development team and I’ll advise as soon as I get confirmation and timeframes of work in development.

Well, it's better, but it's still not right. I appear to have lost the ability to simply "right click-paste" links to photographs in my posts, which is a tad annoying. Other than that I think everyone else has covered my gripes, there's no point me reiterating them!

One thing I will say, thank you again Khalem for passing our issues up the tree, and for keeping us informed! It's much appreciated.

Blue_2 - one thing I've found is that Ctrl+V seems to post the copied clipboard or links etc, see if that works for you too?👌

Kind regards,

Khalem

there have been a number of improvements lately, but i still miss the feature to mark all topics/forums as read.
also, when i scroll down all the way to the bottom, i seem to get stuck when i want to scroll up again.

The format for Android is horrible with half the screen taken up by the Key.Aero headers and Privacy Settings tab.
