-Lovely airfield. I flew in there a couple of years back. I'll try and make it.

-Lovely site, we brought a display to the show in 2009. Am I imagining it (possible) or did you have a typhoon in the process of being restored ( in desert colours?)

Hi there,
Just wanted to let you all know about our little shindig and invite you all along.
Wickenby Wings and Wheels - 18/19 June 2011
Our airshow weekend with aircraft from WW1 and WW2 right up to modern day aerobatics flying both days. Static vintage and modern aircraft, vintage cars, trade stalls, WW2 NAAFI truck, cafe and children's entertainment.
On Saturday night we're having a 'Fun of the 40s' Dinner Dance with two course meal, live swing music, dance floor and bar! It kicks off at 6.30pm with aerobatics displays, and as the sun sets hot air balloons light up the skies around the WW2 marquee. Overnight camping available if you want to make a weekend of it!
Arrivals welcomed in the morning but Wickenby's ATZ will be closed between 12.45 and 16.15 LOCAL due to the airshow - both days. £10 light aircraft / £5 microlights - price includes two free entries to the event.
