-I like Flying Willd Alaska...
Glad it's coming back for a second series.
One thing I've noted, they rarely mix up their shots...when a C-207 takes off, you see a 207 land. And unlike most "reality" shows, it doesn't seem overly contrived.
And it doesn't make flying GA aircraft seem suicidal (unlike most television).
National Geographic had a terrible show (IIRC, just one episode) about Alaska flying and Beavers would turn into Otters, Cessnas (or anything else laying around the cutting room floor). They also had a Aussie-born CAP pilot teaching his daughter how to fly in a CAP-owned Cessna 182.
How can I get on on that deal? Using a government-owned high performance aircraft for initial pilot training.

-Yes that was called IIRC "Alaska wing men" a 3 part series. Every episode had various aircraft / Helicopters taking off ,flying and landing as different models and colour schemes bizzare.

-I watched the whole of the first series in the US recently, great series, enjoyed every minute, in fact downloaded them, and re-watch them in the Laptop ;)
BUT, i have to say when i got home, and saw they were on UK satellite, i thought great, I'll watch them again. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, the UK versions have been edited different, they don't seem to be anywhere near as exciting or entertaining as US version i watched, even the "English" commentary sounds dull, and the guy would be better off reading an obituary. The theme tunes even been toned down, and in my opinion ruined.
This is how it should be !

Has anyone been following the above series?
Ice Pilots about the day to day running of Buffalo Airways with DC3's and Electras is now at the start of series 3, worth watching.
"Flying Wild Alaska" is about the Tweto family who run ERA Alaska, an airline with 75 aircraft serving the tundra region of Alaska. Great viewing, especially when owner Jim performs his off airport landings whilst bush flying his Cessna 180.
Check them out if you haven't already.
