Hello All,

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin USA has launched an aviation oral history program called Timeless Voices of Aviation.

Timeless Voices is recording video interviews with individuals who have aviation experiences to share (pilots, mechanics, designers, homebuilders, etc, both military and civilian), with the purpose of preserving as much of the story of aviation as possible, in the words of those who have lived it.

A significant aspect of the program is the intent to make the recordings available to the public - for free - via an online video history archive on the Timeless Voices website, www.timelessvoices.org. Currently there are only a handful of samples on the site, but as the program gains funding by way of grants and donations, more of the recordings will be made available.

If anyone is interested in participating in the program, you can contact me directly via email: zbaughman@eaa.org. For those of you coming to the EAA convention AirVenture Oshkosh 2003, Timeless Voices will be recording interviews throughout the duration of the convention July 29 - August 4. We would love to talk to you about your aviation experiences.

Best Regards,
