Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd December 2006 at the NEC in Birmingham

The Sport & Leisure Aviation Show is the UK's biggest indoor show covering the whole spectrum of lightweight sport flying, from simple paraglider canopies to 'hotship' composite microlights capable of cruising at 130kts or more, and all with the great emphasis on affordability.

This 'New Aviation' is one of the fastest growing areas in sport flying, and this show is where you can catch up on new foot launched paragliders, competition hang gliders, the latest flexwing microlight and much, much more. Things move on quickly, you get to see the best new products here at the show.

If you are new to flying , both the British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA) and British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA), who are the joint organisers of the show, are making the theme of their stands "Learn to fly" - and there is no cheaper or more accessible way to get flying.

If you have ever dreamt of getting airborne but maybe thought it was beyond your reach, come and see us at the show, you'll soon learn just how easy it is to get involved.

Among the exhibitors are schools and clubs who can explain how to go about training, you can seek advice from those already involved in the sport, or talk to all the major manufacturers and importers of lightweight sport flying kit.

If you think you have seen it all before , we will be staging talks and presentations from our top personalities - people who are world experts in their field, those who are pushing the boundaries of sport aviation. You get the chance to see the whole range of lightweight flying - maybe you'll be tempted to consider another branch of aviation after your visit to the show.

If you are looking for a good day out, you will get the chance - under one roof - to see all of the latest products and ideas, catch up with old friends and make new ones, or to listen to those who have flown further, faster or higher than you thought possible.

The BMAA and BHPA also hold their Annual General Meetings during the show, in 2006 the BHPA AGM will be at 11.00 am on Saturday December 2nd, and the BMAA AGM at 1pm on Sunday December 3rd. See Centre Layout for venue details.

The Sport & Leisure Aviation Show is the UK's best - don't miss it!
