Beautiful 5* photographs, I love big cats!

I believe they're Chinese Red Pandas, Lincoln, very cute.

Many thanks for the comments guys. It's always special to see some of the rarest animals in conditions close to what you would find in the wild.

Lovely pictures.

The last time I was at Colchester Zoo, I had to get home to see the world cup final. Netherlands v Argentina I seem to remember ?

Not a cheap place to go now, at £20 each during the summer.

I agree with the £20.00. but they have to be given food, vets fees etc, and many kids wouldn't see them if they were not taken there on school trips etc.
I.M.H.O. it's well worth the money.

Yes it is worth it, and I see they do a reduced entrance fee in the winter, as
you won't get so much time there (do Duxford do that ? :)). To get value for money you need to
spend a whole day there, with the added cost of food and drink.

Regarding the big cats though, they are lovely to look at, but I still find it sad seeing beautiful animals
like that caged up. Even if they do have a big enclosure

Any brass monkeys?
The sharpness of the images is very noticeable - what camera and lens was used?

And so say all of us too Alan, the trouble is, is that if they were in their natural habitat, they would undoubtedly be hunted down and killed, and just to satisfy some Chinese meditional needs
